Don Quijote | Palty Sparkling Blonde Bleach Review

Hi guys I'm Back and already Blonde! It's been ages since my last post, and yes I know I did  promised to be more diligent when it comes to blogging but somehow I've been busy with work and stuff and so anyway  about 2 months during my Hawaiian Vacation. I went to my favorite Japanese Grocery store  "Don Quijote" which is located just a few blocks from Ala Moana Center. This place is Heaven for those who loves Japanese Products they have food to Beauty Care and even electronics.

My eyes literally sparkled  while walking at the aisle full of Japanese Beauty Products. From Facial Wash to Make-up and Hair Dye!!! Oh how I wish they had a store like this in the Philippines!

I even saw a post-ad of Matsu Jun!!

I ended up buying Palty Sparkling Blonde to bleach my hair, I was hesitant at first because almost all reviews that I read said that their hair ended up too orangey and dried-up damaged hair. I took the risk and bought it.

So the next day I immediately bleached my Hair with 2 boxes of Palty Sparkling Bleach
(Note: If your hair is Medium to Long I suggest to get 2 boxes)
(Bleach Powder, Comb Applicator, Developer, Coloring Agent , Clear Plastic Gloves, Tsubaki Oil (Leave-on Treatment), Hair Cap and Instruction)

I was Indeed Lucky to have English Instruction included, I heard that most boxes only have it in Japanese. So I'll just write a brief a instruction on how to mix the bleach:

Step 1
Mix the Bleach Powder with the Developer. Shake for 30 seconds (60-80 times) in an Up and Down motion. You will notice it will turn into a blue-violet tone.

Step 2
Next is Squeeze you Coloring Agent Paste in to the developer and Shake again for 30 seconds (60-80 times) in an Up and Down motion.

Step 3
Replace the Cap with the Comb Applicator and Now It's ready for apply!!! ^___^
***  note: Remember not to let it touch to you're scalp!!! Burning sensation and allergic reaction will occur.

Step 4
Leave it for 15-30min max then Rinse Hair.

For my hair, I left the bleach for 25 mins so that not to damaged it much.

RESULTS!!!!!!!

Before
Dyed my hair few months ago but my roots are already showing up.

After:
I already expected an orangey result so I was not shocked nor disappointed

Here's a clearer shot:

In the end I LOVED the RESULTS though I did dyed it with a less vibrant colour right after 2 weeks which I would post this coming weekend... I have to say IT DID NOT dried up my hair or maybe because I kept using hair mask and Conditioner Treatments in advance prior to bleaching and even after!

I would totally use this product again to touch up my roots! :) Lucky for me just a week ago I saw Palty readily available at a local Department store here in Manila! Lucky for me ^___^~

Meiji Amino Collagen Beaute White Review

It's been a while since my last review post. For the past weeks I've been trying out Meiji Amino Collagen "Beaute White" In fact I just finished my first bottle, at first I was really quite hesitant to take collagen pills because I'm not sure if there are any side effects that can permanently damage my health. So I really did research about what collagen is and what it does and how it affects my body. So after thorough research I ended up trying it since it has a very good backs from both doctors and mass users.

A bottle contains 84  Soft Glossy White Capsules which is good to consume for 21 days with a dosage of 4 capsule per day. You can drink 2 capsules in the morning and 2 in the evening.

So What is Collagen?
It's basically natural proteins made of amino-acids from animals usually from fish and chickens.

What does Collagen do?
Collagen helps strengthen various structure of the body, in fact today some people call it the "Fountain of Youth"  because it helps brings back the smoothness of you're skin to how it was before. Making it vibrant and soft.

So who can use Collagen?
Anyone can use it. Research shows that as people age collagen production decreases in result the cell structure weakens. I remember reading somewhere that "No one is too young to start using anti-aging products" in fact the sooner you use one, the less damage it would create to your skin in the future.

What Collagen to use?
Today there are many companies that produce collagen products. There are even products specially made for females consumers and specially made for male consumers. Just be sure to research on the company and the product your'e using also the Ingredients it contains.

So for me after using it for 21 days I must say I totally love this product so much! It was really worth getting hyped with, before using this product I was having problems with sudden acne breakouts and dryness of skin. My skin was shouting for help!

So that's what got me thinking of using this product. Amazingly after just 3 days of using it I noticed it taking effect, the break out stopped. I felt that my skin was being hydrated and was smoother compared to before. It also gave my skin a healthy glow.

Because of the very good result I asked my dad to buy me a bottle when he flew to osaka just a week ago, too bad it was out of stocked at the drugstore near his hotel, in the end my dad bought a different brand instead.

I guess I'll give this brand a try first, though I prefer Meiji since it's made from Fish collagen.Oh I must to warn you this product smells like fish and rotten eggs which is totally normal since it has fish oil as one of its main ingredient, but its really worth drinking so don't  be turned of just because off the smell.

I'm guessing the HTC collagen one is from chicken if my Japanese reading serves my right. Oh well I'll do a comparison review on this next time. Will finish the 30days consumption dosage first to see the results.

Maybelline Lipstick Review

This is probably a super late review! Since I have already been using these for 3 weeks now lol !!! ^_^

So last month I blogged about giving Maybelline a try Specifically Maybellines "Fushia Fever" and Water Shine Pure "R22"

First is  Fushia Fever! I'm so in love with this color, from daily or party look this would be the perfect lip color to wear! It just brings out the inner lady in me haha, plus it compliments my fair complexion! ♡ I love how it also last long for hours before having the need to retouch my lips again.

On the other hand the Water Shine Pure "R22" ain't  bad either. The color made my face a bit more mature in a good way. I guess I would wear this when going out at night or at a business meeting where I want taken more seriously. So in other words this would be a good color to wear at the office or a night out with friends! ^__^ ... For the water shine edition I must say I love the gloss of the color! Though It doesn't last as long as the Fushia Fever but a little touch up would solve the problem ^_^.

To sum it all up! It was really worth trying Maybelline! I love it ! It's cheap but has the same quality like those of expensive cosmetics brands. I would definitely buy their products again.

Maybelline haul

Hi guys! It's been a while since my last post, been busy preparing for the holidays! To be honest it has been an exhausting week for me, last minute Christmas shopping is always so stressful and to think I'm not finished with it yet, though today is already Christmas itself, me and my family haven't opened our gifts yet because dad is over at Vancouver because of his work. So we decided to open our presents on New Years eve like we did last year.

Anyways when I was out shopping for gifts I finally decided to tryout Maybellines BB cream since it has been getting a lot of good feed backs. I was looking for the water-gel bb cream which I already tried before from the free sample my friend gave me but unfortunately it's not available here in the Philippines so I just went and buy the Pure BB mineral mouse type and bought 2 new lipstick since it was on sale. I will make a review on it as soon as I try it on. This would be my first time trying this brand since I'm usually a Clinique and Shiseido user, so I do hope this product would workout for me ^__^.

 December 2012 Shoot

As some of you may know I had my first ever photoshoot with Strawberries and Cream just a few days ago. It was a new experience for me since it was my first time to ever try to overcome my camera shyness. I mean I am not afraid to have my picture taken with others or have a self taken shot by phone. Its just that tend to feel awkward when having my solo picture being taken by others. So anyways I present you the finish product of my first shoot.

Mooberii meets Strawberries and Cream

Few weeks ago I was asked by my friend if I can model for a photo shoot to add on her portfolio. I was hesitant at first because I know for a fact that I tend to have an awkward smile in front of the cam. I only get decent shots If I'm in the mood to get my picture taken, but at the end I decided to give it a try since she said that it would be fine even in my given circumstance.

So early this morning I met up with my friend to have my first photo shoot experience. I was feeling sluggish since I ended up staying late last night doing my brothers project. Drank a cup of coffee and ate pancakes for breakfast to have an energy kick for today's shoot.

At the location of the shoot I met my friends partner and got along with her as well. Though I was already comfortable with them, I was not able to overcome my camera shy sickness! The awkward smile tends to appear in the photos lucky for me the photo shoot did not require a lot of smiling or else I would have wasted a lot of their time.

The shoot ended up well, we managed to get some decently good shots. Both of them did a great job especially handling a first timer like me.

Here I am with Strawberries and Cream

Took some vanity shots after the shoot
One things is for sure! It's easier to smile when using a phones front cam *lol*

The photos taken for today will be posted on their website soon.
They also do styling and make up as well! Liked my look for today? Click the photo below to check their services on their facebook page ^__^

Prettia Hi- Bleach Review

Liese Prettia Hi-Bleach
Review

4 days ago I decided to finally dye my hair with Liese Prettia Hi Bleach. Actually months before ordering this hair product I was torn whether to buy Paltys Sparkling Blonde Bleach but at the end I chose Prettia because I don't want to go overly blonde. My goal is just to lighten my hair a bit which it did.

I ordered my bleach from Japanichi a trusted online seller. A box of Prettia cost PHP 700 but got mine for less because I ordered plenty to get a wholesalers price. Here's my verdict:

Overall Rating: 4.5 Berries

Price wise the price is really worth it even without the discount! Why?? It's because 1 box is enough even for  those who have long hair, compared to Palty which requires me to use 2 boxes. I assure you 1 box of Prettia is more than enough even for those people who have both thick and long hair.

The Smell of this product is also less irritating and does not sting compared to the other brands that I have used.

For the Color It did not actually turned blonde but I already expected that, that's why I chose this Bleach at the first Place because don't intend yet to go totally blonde but maybe next time I will *hahaha*.

and lastly for the Texture I must say I love the end results! It did not dry up my hair!! Actually It somehow became more softer than before!!! Though I still deep conditioned my hair before and after I used this product just for precaution.

Overall I love this product it never fails to make me love it even more! This is actually my second time using it and surely It won't be the last! ^_^ There are still a lots of color to choose from already bought Platinum Beige for my next hair color can't wait to try it!

1 Box Contains :
☑Gloves
☑After Color Hair Pack (Leave-On Conditioner)
☑Developer & a Pink Pump Nozzle Pump
☑Hair Color (The small bottle)
☑Instruction / Manual in Japanese

Things you Might Need (OPTIONAL)
☐ Cape/ Old shirt/Towel (So not to stain your clothes)
☐ Cotton Balls/Buds/Tissue (For safety precautions)
☐ Oil based lotion
☐ Shower Cap

Ok now lets get started!

First Carefully Read the instruction for those who can't read Japanese here's a easy to follow

I love the gloves, it's more snug fit compared to Paltys

Now time to mix the Developer and the Color

After that close it with the safety cap and gently turn it upside down 5 times, remember NOT TO SHAKE the bottle! It would bubble and you'll find it difficult to pump and apply.

After turning it upside down 5 times replace the cap with the pink nozzle pump

Now It's ready for application!
Just slight Squeeze the bottle the voila! Let the fun Begin!!

*Unfortunately I was not able to take pictures during the application process
I was afraid to stain my phone case sorry ^^;;*

and so after washing the hair apply the After Color Pack for a smoother and silkier hair.

Here's the BEFORE:
*My Honey Brown color became reddish toned*

and  AFTER 30 minutes of leaving the Bleach on my hair
 *drum roll please*

It turned out slightly lighter than before more like of a Golden Brown Color, I guess I should have left it 10 mins more for better result.
On the other hand the color turned out even *phew*

Eyelash Galore

For the past 2 days I decided to avoid going to the mall so I ended up spending those days at home sleeping, watching tv, eating, exercising and playing with my 2 adorable baby doggies **I'll introduce them next time** . But this early morning i receive an SMS from my dad who’s was at that time on his way to Vegas, reminding me to go to True Values Opening sale at Glorietta and get some things that he needs, so I was somehow forced to go the mall which I really didn't want to cause I was fighting the urge to spend.

While waiting for the opening sale I stopped by Daiso (Japan Home Center) just to kill time. Somehow I ended up buying 2 Fake eyelashes **gaaaaahh I easily gave up to temptation * and to think I just bought some 3days ago (x__x) …

Here’s the one I bought last Tuesday

So anyways after that went to True Value with my mom and bought the things dad needed and also ended up buying some items that wasn't on the list *lucky for me mom was the one who paid this time lol*

I ended up buying things related to eyelashes *lol*

(Heated Eyelash Curlers, Falsies, Dual Purpose eyelash glue **it can also be used as an double eyelid glue**)

After Shopping me and mom had a mother daughter bonding at a Nail Spa.

Had my nails painted Pink (^,^)

So that's how I spent my day. Can't wait to give those eyelashes a try! Till next time!! ^__^

Review on (Dariya) Palty Hair Dye Honey Brown

Hello Everyone! This would be my first product review.

Products: Dariya Palty Hair Dye in Honey Brown
Rating:      (4/5 Berries)
Price: 9-13 USD or  Php600
Where to buy:  I bought mine at Don Quijote Hawaii for $12, I guess you can check out Japanese Groceries near you or online shops like Amazon. For Philippine Buyers I bought my first Palty at Japanichi it's an online shop that sells Japanese Beauty Products.

Review:

2 months ago I redyed my hair with Dariya Palty Hair Dye in  Honey Brown for those of you who's not familiar with this brand its a Japanese Hair Dye which is really easy to use. It has tons of colors to choose from. They have 2 versions of this Hair Dye the Cream Type that comes with a comb applicator and a Foam Type which comes in a cute pink bucket mixer with a brush applicator.

Here's a sample of the colors that the Cream Type Version of Palty offers: (The one boxed in red is Honey Brown)

1 Box contains:

☑ Instruction in Japanese (If you can't read the nihongo, Heres a link for the English Instruction or you can just look at the picture it's easy to understand )
 ☑ Developer & Comb Applicator
 ☑ Gloves
 ☑ Hair Color (In tube)
☑ Leave on Conditioner (Tsubaki Oil)

Things you might need: (Optional)

☐ Old Shirt (You don't wan't you're pretty clothes to get stained :p )
☐ Shower Cap (So that the hair would absorb the color more)
☐ Cotton balls/Buds / Tissue (Just in case things get messy)

Here's the Result! :

BEFORE

Newly Colored  Prettia Marshmallow Brown
(White/Day Light)

After 3 months in Dark Lighting

AFTER
(Left it for about 25 mins don't want it to go too light)

Taken after 2 weeks (Warmwhite / Halogen Light)

After 2 Months (Natural Light) The color Faded

Pros
✓ The Cute Box it comes in with :3
✓ The smell is not that strong unlike american hair dyes
✓ Does not sting the Eyes during application
✓ The color last long
✓ Very Easy to Apply (Haven't tried the foam dye seems like Prettias Foam dye is easier to apply)

Cons
✖ Can be drying to the hair but can easily be fixed with Hair Mask (Well mine is already dry so I don't mind *lol*)
✖ 1 box is not enough for those with long and thick hair. ( I used 2 boxes because my hair is long, It just look shorter because I have a Naturally Curly Hair)
✖ The color at the back of the box which indicates the result is not that accurate so If you want the result to be exactly as the picture, I suggest bleaching your hair first or go for one shade lighter your desired color.
